Suggest Remedy For Blocked Salivary Duct In Submandibular Gland

I have what I think is a blocked salivary duct in the submandibular gland. I am 39 yrs. female, weight 155lbs. 5'4". I had a stone in high school several years ago and remember my mom giving me tart, bitter things to eat and it broke. This one is way worse. i'm swollen like i have a small apple in my neck and i see white/ish stuff coming from the v shaped thing under my tongue. Do i self remedy this? Do i suck on tart candy? Do i go to dr now? What do you think?

Thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the stone in the duct could be treated by surgically removing it.before that you might have to take radiograph and CT scan. The white discharge near the floor of the mouth could be the pus secondary to infection of the gland. Consult a oral maxillofacial surgeon and get it removed. I hope my answer will help you. Take care.
