Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

In a Diabetic patient with time usually blood sugar levels which were controlled with medication initially, slow doesn't respond well with same medication, then we need to rise the dosage of drug or addition of new drug with blood monitoring. Your doctor has done exactly that. If still not under control slight increase of dosage is done. This is to prevent high dosage. once the dosage is set to control sugar levels. That particular dose is continued.

I advice addition of voglibose 0.2 thrice daily along with food. You can discuss this with your treating doctor.

Hope this guides you,
Thank you,
Dr Phanindra Dulipala.
