Hi there, I had a corneal abrasion in both eyes about 2 weeks ago. My opthomologist was baffled by it; it seemed to remove a third of the cornea in each eye, and though we are certain it was my contacts, the pain and clouding of vision didn't even show up until about a day after I took my contacts out, and I have been wearing them with no problems for 6 years.I couldn't open my eyes for a week but it finally began to heal and clear up. However, my right eye is still cloudy. My doctor thought I had bad glasses but they were absolutely fine before the abrasion. My right eye is blurry no matter what the distance is, so its hard to read... something thats never happened before with my glasses. Is this a scar or something similar? Or does it just need more time to heal? Thank you.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having blurred vision following a corneal abrasion. Corneal abrasions will not lead to corneal scar hence no need to worry. This may be a corneal healing problem and this can become normal with healing of the corneal abrasion. Use of artificial tears will help in this condition.
Thank you
