Hello, I have been possible reading to many things on the internet. BUT. I have over 30 of these little bright red dots on my skin from my arms, breasts, belly and tops of thighs (ther may be more but I can only see my front half easily), 90% are the size of a pin head, and one ore two are much bigger but still smaller that a grain of rice( I assume those are blood blisters from my bra or underwear). I am concern because I have been battling with head lice for almost two months and I been reading about the chemicals withing the lice shampoos that acan cause more/ other issues. I would like a course of action suggested if possible or a testing of sorts to determin it is or is not something before jumping to the doctor/clinic.
The red dots on various parts may be cherry angioma. Kindly consult the dermatologist for the firm diagnosis. The condition is benign and does not require any treatment. It may be without any cause or secondary to internal disease like DM, dyslipidemias, obesity, liver diseases or some other disease.
I would suggest...
- investigate to find out any condition responsible - if found, proper treatment may be taken - the chemical you use for pediculosis capitis..is not the cause. - the condition is benign and does not require any treatment - if you require treatment, electrocautery under local anaesthesia of each lesion may be done by expert dermatologist
I hope this would help you.
Thanks.
