Suggest Remedy For Bruised Fibula With Painful And Sore Ankles Due To Fall

Good day My fibula had came In contact with person whom had fallen on me while I played rugby. My lower fibula is bruised and it pains when I touch it. My ankle has also suffered due to this, because every time I lean forward or do very stressful motions, my ankle buckles under pressure and I feel bone against bone(my muscles don t support my ankle)... Which is very sore. This injury is 4 months old now. In the moment being I ve visited physiotherapist, and they have gave me a range of excersices to do. But I tried running yesterday and I damaged the whole process of healing, and I am back to square one.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You would need to rest the area by restricting unnecessarily activity.

In addition to rest, using anti inflammatory pain killers such as ibuprofen, cataflam or naproxen and cold compress may help.

If there is swelling elevation and compression may also be indicated.

I hope this helps
