Suggest Remedy For Bulging Disc In Lower Back With Disc Degenerative Disease

I have Disc Degenerative Disease, a bulging disc in my lower back ( L4, L5), and abdominal muscles that split during pregnany. I am a very petite 36-year-old woman 5 3 and 101 pounds. After working out my abs, my back always suffers, ever since they split. I ve tried physical therapy and a chiropractor to no avail. Cortisone shots do help, but I don t want to do too many of them. What do you suggest?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You should consider continuing with the physical therapy long term to see if this helps and use pain medication if needed.

You may also want to avoid any exercises (unless advised by physio) that aggravate the back, they may make the injury worse and lead to further complications.

If the pain is severe and physio is not effective, then surgery is the other option.

I hope this helps
