Suggest Remedy For Bumps On The Gums And Pain In Tooth

I had a crowne put on my front tooth about 8 months ago. About three days ago I noticed two bumps above the tooth that has the crown. One is red and one is white. My three front teeth also feel loose with pain up into my nose and face. Do you have any suggestions on what this could be?

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you either have a DENTAL ABSCESS which can be due to infection in the area below the root apex of the tooth leading to pus formation and formation of an abscess or a PERIODONTAL ABSCESS which is caused due to deeper infection in gums and the possibility of it is due to your symptoms that there is mobility in teeth and it is commonly seen in case of Periodontitis that is deeper infection in gums which erodes the underlying bone also or of a combination of an ENDO -PERIO lesion [endo-related to tooth and perio-related to gums] as the infection from the gums can deepen leading to infection reaching the root apex of the tooth and cause infection..

You should consult a dentist and get evaluated and in case if it is related to gums then thorough scaling and root planing of the gums followed by antibiotics like Augmentin and Metronidazole and painkiller like Ibuprofen can help.
In case of dental abscess first antibiotics and painkillers has to be taken for a period of 10 days and if it does not resolve re-root canal treatment or extraction has to be done as per the condition of tooth..
In case of endo-perio lesion scaling, root plaining and if required Apicectomy for treating infection near the root tips can be done followed by antibiotics and painkillers..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
