Suggest Remedy For Chest & Back Pain

Hey I m a 14 year old boy and the other day I fell hard n my upper back neck area. I was immediately winded and now it s days later but I still feel pain in my chest and back. Its worst when I run and it s really bad in my chest when I have hiccups which I suddenly seem not able to get rid of. Do I need to see a Dr?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
Yes, you should definitely consult doctor and get done chest x ray.
You had blunt chest trauma due to fall. So following complications can cause pain on coughing and breathing difficulty.
1. Rib fracture
2. Pneumothorax
3. Pulmonary contusions
4. Muscle injury.
So get done chest x ray to rule out these possible complications.
If chest x ray is normal than muscle injury is the cause.
Try to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid strenuous exercise and heavyweight lifting.
2. Avoid bad postures in sleep and movements causing pain.
3. Start painkiller and muscle relaxant.
4. Apply warm water pad on affected site.
So consult doctor and discuss all these and start appropriate treatment.
