Suggest Remedy For Chest Congestion And Blocked Nose
Hi, my nearly 4 years old daughter is suffering from blocked nose, conjusted chest and cough, she has completed her antibiotic course nearly 15 days back, what should do? Is it safe to give her antibiotics again? Currently i m giving her acefyl cough, arinac and regix, thanks.

better to consult an ent surgeon to rule out for adenoids or tonsillitis
chest x-ray to find the cause of congestion.
whatever you are giving her is just to reduce cough and decongestants,but the infection may not reduce

It is possible that her symptoms are due to a viral infection and would not need or respond to antibiotic therapy.
Viral infection is the most common cause for nasal congestion and acute cough.
You can continue giving her the medications above which are (1) a bronchodilator that will help open the airways
(2)decongestant to help with blocked nose
(3)anti histamine
If you can also obtain a mucolytic this would also help. Mucolytics help to break up mucus so that it can be easily expelled.
