i have asthma.... one month ago i was treated in the er for "bronchitis". i received anti-biotics which ,along wth drinking water...the congestion did clear up. but the pain in my chest remains.... at first i thought it was from the soreness of coughing & breathing, yet i have had no congestion or breathing asthma problems since it clear up over two and half weeks ago. iam 48 and recently diagnose this summer as diabietic.....i hate going to hospitals and would love to get a answer to ease my stess before i see my gp next week.....regards

No need to worry for lung related pain as your congestion and breathing has improved. Avoid movements causing pain. Take simple painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen.
