Suggest Remedy For Chest Pain

Hi. My husband has been having sharp chest pain right in the middle of the chest. It especially hurts when he bends over or breathes deeply. He also feels very bloated. This has been going on for 48 hours. Is this just gas or something I should be more concerned about?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, possibility of gas related pain is more.
He is mostly having acute gastritis and gaseous distention of stomach which is causing such pain.
So give him proton pump inhibitors and prokinetic drugs.
Ask him to avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid junk food.
Ask him to avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
Quit smoking and alcohol if he is having these habits.
Don't worry, he will mostly improve with all these.
If not improving then get done chest x ray to rule out internal pathology.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
