Suggest Remedy For Chills And Fever In A Child

My 12 year old son said he had a headache earlier and was very thirsty said hadn t drank much so I figured he was dehydrated. So I gave him plenty of fluids. Then outta no where he for the chills and said he wanted ablanket and it was 90% out. Took his temp 100.6 then went to 101.6 gave him tylenol went down to 100.6 then went up and stayed. He just woke me up saying he ia cold and its like he can t feel his body and his rwmp is 102.7

hello welcome to HCM. Your son has fever, cause has to be detected. From the information given, he is having one day fever. You are giving the medication, and the fever is coming down for each dose. and again temp rising. Temp also has shoot up to 102. The symptoms indicates it is viral fever. If the fever present for 4-5 days, not coming down and cannot be controlled, then you have to get complete blood checkup to rule out other types of fever . If the fever crosses 100, please do sponzing with lukewarm water . the temp should not shoot up. Please take advice from peadiatrician for further course of treatement
