Suggest Remedy For Chronic Blockage Of Nostril And Ear

My left sinus is blocked--after I use a saline flush there is white thick nasal discharge. There s a heavy feeling in the left ear and the left side of my neck. Went to the ER and they prescribed Zithromax. I took the course, felt a bit better but the sinus still gets blocked and the left ear is still a bit blocked,and the heavy feeling in the neck is there. Feels like I have to clear the side of my throat a lot and I have to spit up thick white mucus.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms suggest that there is some problem in left sinus, although the site is not mentioned and left ear.
Recurrent blockage and heaviness is suggestive of accumulation of mucus in the sinus and ear.
Excessive mucus secretion occurs secondary to infection and inflammation of the sinus and ear.
The nasal cavity and sinus mucosa may be continuous with each other thus, both sites feel full and heavy.
In addition, the thick nasal discharge further show that there is inflammation of the nasal mucosa also.
The inflammation appears to be chronic thus, treatment needs to be repeated. You need to consult an ENT specialist for the management.
