Suggest Remedy For Chronic Gout

Hi my name is Wanda and my Husband has cronic gout and has been hospitalised and they found an in.infection in his Calf, I assume this is an antibiotic andwill reduce the in fection.I am mainly asking if this will clear. it's just we've never heard of this medication, he is also onColchicine,is this to do with is Gout he is also on a 6 day course of prednisone, Can you shew any light on wehter rhis is the right form of treatment.
