Suggest Remedy For Chronic Itching And Tingling Sensation In The Rectum

Hi I do hope you can help.. I have been inserting suppositories for over a month now as my tummy just refuses to go naturally. I also have mucous coming from my rectum...itch at times. It feels like I have worms as there is movement down there. Have sent what looks like worms to pathologist but has come back saying not found. I am so frustrated as I eat veg and drink lots of water too. I eat pumpkin seeds and lots of other seeds., and walk most days. I just want to cry. I also feel so guilty as there has been no sex with my husband for four months now for fear of him also being contaminated with the worm. I do hope you can help!

From the details given, it appears you may be having an infestation of Enterobious vermicularis otherwise known as pin worms. These worms crawl just outside the anal area and lay eggs at night time, leading to constant itching. Fresh stool examination some times may show the worms. Taking drugs like Albendazole 400 mg once at night will invariably give almost 100 % cure.

The same drug needs to be repeated after two weeks. Plus it is essential to wash inner clothes and bed sheets in boiling water in order to get rid of eggs of those worms. Even other people at home need to take the deworming treatment. Please do try this. There is no reason why there should be no sex, as there affection to the vaginal area. Please remember to avoid scratching the anal area as that will spread the infection.
