Hello,

Pain management can be done in the following ways:
1) You can go for NSAIDs when the pain is extremely high. You can take tab. Ibuprofen or tab. Naproxen twice daily for 14 days.
2) As NSAIDs may cause gastric irritation, you need to take tab.pantop 40 mg daily once before food.
3) If you have kidney failure or bleeding disorders, then NSAIDs are not to be used.
4) Opioids can be used instead like hydrocodone, oxycodone and Tramadol.
5) You can increase the dose of opioids that you are using now.
6) You can go to physical therapy and learn few neck muscles strengthening exercises to reduce pain.
7) You can have steroid and local anesthetic combined shots into facetal joints of cervical or neck vertebrae.
8) You can ask your pain medicine expert about this injection. It will help relieve pain for considerable period of time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
