General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, there are a few things and behavioral changes that can be done to get him to sleep like-
-Make a fixed sleeping schedule
-Do not eat too late
-Dark shades for the bedroom
-Regular exercise
-Meditation
If this does not help, There are also drugs that can help him sleep but they are prescription only. So you can get them only with a doctor's prescription.
In any case I strongly suggest taking him to a doctor to find the cause for his insomnia.
Hope this answers your question. Thank you.
