Suggest Remedy For Clavicle Fracture

age;24, height 162cm, 6kgs, i have a clavicle fracture on 24th april 2011. i was wearing an arm sling (even now) and figure of 8 brace for two weeks. figure of brace caused improper positioning of bone and now the doctor advised me to remove it and wear only arm sling. now its been 3 weeks since i was injured. will the bones unite in the proper position or what if a improper union happens. the fracture is in the middle third of the right clavicle. from when should i start rehab / physiotherapy? is it required?
