As per your query the water clogged ears is a very common condition .your doctor prescribed you right medicines to prevent the occurrence of any infection ,so continue them as per prescription .
I would suggest you to keep warm compresses on your ear 2-3 times a day ,use mixture of alcohol and distal water in equal quantity as a ear drops twice a day alcohol will help in evaporate water (do not do this procedure if you had previous ear surgery or punctured ear drum),blow you ear with hair dryer with lowest heat ans by keeping it foot long distance from ear lobe and chewing a gum will also be helpful.
If the condition persist for more the 2-3 days consult ENT specialist (ear, nose, throat )again, who can perform other procedures to drain a liquid.
Hope your concern had been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
