Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had buzzing in my right ear for about 3 weeks, first here and there and now its constant. it doesn t really sound like its exactly in my ear but off in the distance a bit. I ve looked up information on the web but wondering how soon I should wait before seeing a ENT doctor? I stopped smoking about 2 yeas age but took up vaping. The nicotine amount that I use is only 3 which is very low. was wondering if that could be causing it. need some help please
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the ear condition then it could be due to wax impaction, Eustachian tube block, infection, and to rule out this you need to see the ENT, if this is normal one then it may be hallucination and this could be auditory one, hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
