Suggest Remedy For Constant Coughing

I was smoking for past 10 yrs now i quit but caught up with cold followed by severe coughing which brings out the mucus from chest...gone thru X-ray blood test and sputum for culture test and doc says every thing is ok.. but the coughing is still there ..any help will be appreciated

Well come to HCM
If you really need to get rid of the cough then you have to stop the smoking, because the cough that you have could be due to the smoking and this may not need any treatment, take care (Comment:- Cough without the pathology doe not need any treatment but of course the underlying factor need to be ruled out )

You can try bronchodilators, mild steroids, steam inhalation and oral cough suppressant drugs.Discuss about this with your doctor.Regards
