Suggest Remedy For Constant, Dull Pain In Upper Abdomen Radiating To Mid Back

I just woke up from a sound sleep with moderate to severe upper gastric pain. It doesn t feel like heart burn. The pain is constant, dull and extends to my mid back. I have elevated cholesterol but otherwise healthy; BP is 149/83, HR 57 (usually BP is low...110/70). Position doesn t change pain.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the pain does not feel like your reflux then you would need to consider other causes related to structures in this area such as peptic ulcer.

It is possible that it is also severe reflux may be the cause.

You can try to use your reflux medication, which also help with peptic ulcer disease, to see if this gives any relief.
If the pain worsens or does not improve, it would be best to see your doctor

I hope this helps
