Hello!

I have gone through your question and understand your concern.

Your symptoms may be caused by tension type headache, a type of headache which is caused by contractions of the scalp muscles. But a lesion inside the brain like a tumor can not be excluded by the information provided.

I would like to know if it is like pressure or throbbing headache, the location and if you experience intolerance to noise or light during these episodes of headache.

The fact that it doesn't stop from painkillers is a little concerning.

I would recommend to consult with a neurologist, have a careful neurological examination, a routine blood test for anemia and inflammation. A brain CT scan may be needed.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings! Dr. Aida
