Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have very thick phlegm that I am rarely able to cough up. If I am able to cough anything up, its a very thick rubber clear phlegm. I also feel like I have a ball of goo in my throat which is making me constantly swallow to get it to clear. I can hear a sound come from my lungs when I breath in deep. No fever or wheezing. I don t feel sick.

Suggest Remedy For Cough And Thick Phlegm
Hi, I understand your concerns. Having a thick phlegm can be relieved by increasing fluids intake: water, tea, etc. Gargle with warm water and salt is also advised together with using antiseptic spray. If it will persist, further consultation with ENT specialist is recommended. Hope it helped! Dr.Albana
