hi. im a 19 year old male. ive been dipping tobacco for about 2 years. i weigh 150lbs and am 5'6". a couple of months back i noticed that i could feel these lumps under my jaw on the left and right side. someone i know that is in medical school felt them and said they were just my salivary glands but i never noticed them before a few months ago and i kind of brushed it off. from time to time when i dip tobacco ill spit/cough out mucous and im starting to get worried again because it seems like its not going away
In my opinion you should first undergo chest x ray to rule out any infection. As tobacco chewers tend to get infection easily. And for your oral lesions consult ENT surgeon. And quit tobacco as soon as possible.
