Suggest Remedy For Crack In Mouth And Burning Feeling On Lips
The corners of my mouth began to crack and days later my top lip appeared to be burned. However, I did not do anything which could cause that. There was never any pain. I only felt the tightening of my lip and dry feeling which I attributed to being dehydrated. I've also felt a bit of a scratchy throat which has been on and off for the last 2 weeks.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain cracks at the corners of mouth known as Angular Chelitis along with chapped and burned lip can be due to a number of causes like deficiency of iron and Vitamin B12, fungal or bacterial infection, excessive saliva accumulation etc.. i would suggest you to apply a combination of antibiotic and antifungal cream/ointment over the corners of mouth, you can apply a thick coat of petroleum jelly or bees wax containing lip balm over the lips.. Do cool compresses over the lips. Take multivitamin supplements.. Do not let saliva to accumulate at the corners of lips and keep the area clean and dry..
