Suggest Remedy For Cramps And Pain When Having Uterine Fibroid

I recently had a transvaginal ultrasound to diagnose pain I have been having in my ovaries. I also Hadn t had a period in 3 months. They diagnosed me with pcos and a uterine fibroid! Yesterday I started my period, but the cramps are really painful, and I am going through a tampon every hour and a half to two hours. I have never had a heavy flow, so I am a little worried. Should I be concerned?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The heavy flow would be related to the fibroids. Fibroids are a cause of prolonged or heavy menstrual bleeding.
They would also be associated with significant pain as well.

There are hormonal and pain medications that can be used to help with the fibroids, if these are not effective , they can be removed.

Lifestyle changes (loss of any excess weight) would help with the PCOS as would a medication called metformin.

I hope this helps
