I have a root canal on #19 molar. I also have a crown on it. 2 yrs ago my crown came off, and I went to the dentist to have it put back on. Since that time I have had a ?cyst lesion on the side of my gum, and have a I have a lot of inflammation in my muscles now. I have noticed that in my axillary region my muscles are sore. Also, down my neck around my chest (heart) area, and down my arm. I have noticed that it is now moving across my the other side of chest as well. I need to have the root canal redone per my dentist, but have not had the money. I thought about getting CK total drawn, but I don't won't to waste my money if it is not needed.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns....

As per your complain it seems that you have an abscess formation below the root tips of the tooth that was advised you to get root canal treated..
Due to abscess formation there is accumulation of pus below the root tips of the tooth and there is formation of lump over the gums..
While the other symptoms like tenderness in axillary muscles as well as chest discomfort does not seems to be related to the tooth problem and it needs evaluation from a medicine specialist..
I would however suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated for the tooth and if re-root canal is required you should get it done followed by antibiotics and painkillers to relieve infection..
Get the crown placed atleast 15 days after treatment..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
