General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since you are already diagnosed with blood clot in aortic artery, this is not the time t stay back at home. You are suggested to get immediately hospitalized under your treating doctor or in the ER urgently. You need urgent medical aid. Floating thrombus in the aortic arch creates a life-threatening risk of stroke & peripheral embolization. Treatment is mandatory, once the diagnosis is done.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
