Suggest Remedy For Dark Spots On Legs Due To Sunburn
I got a bad sunburn on my legs one week ago. So far, there is no peeling but there are purple spots (patches). I am treating with aloe vera and Vitamin C cream. Is this something that will clear up on its own? And yes I know...this was a really dumb thing to do.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dark spots on legs due to sunburn which is because of sun poisoning.
I would suggest you to avoid sun exposure as much as you can. If you have to go outside cover your skin with cloth. Tan Care a medicated cream you should use it on daily basis to get immediate relief. Use metarub to avoid skin pigmentation. You can use tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar dipped in cotton swab and apply two times daily for 10-15 minute. Keep area clean and dust free. Your symptoms will start resolving in 1 week. If your symptoms keeps on persisting the you should visit dermatologist once and start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
