Suggest Remedy For Deep Cut Due To Injury On Bottom Lip

My 15 year old son got a punch to the face today after school and it has caused a cut on the bottom lip, right beside where his lips meet (in the corner). It s approximately half a centimetre across and about the same in depth. I think he may require a stitch but my partner doesn t as he believes it wouldn t take at that part and a doctor wouldn t seem it necessary.

If the wound is not actively bleeding then there is no need for suture, wat your son definitely needs is tetanus shots. Apply ice if there is swelling n get inj TT immediately
