Suggest Remedy For Delayed Periods

hi,my wife is 31 years old.last month she had a delayed period,so consulted doctor & taken medication for 10 days & on 14th day period started.on day-3 done some test,all the tests were normal apart from AMH(.12).Doctor was shocked while all other relating tests were normal apart from this. so,my question is that whether my wife can get pregnant or not?

Hi,

AMH level in your case is very low as per your age. Considering your age of 31, it should be in the range of 0.58 to 8.1 ngm/ml. Low, level of AMH means a very low ovarian reserve, which predicts that very less eggs are available for process of fertilization. Though, it shows that likelihood of pregnancy is very less, though not completely impossible. In such cases, an early pregnancy should be planned, as menopause may set early in such case. IVF may be planned, under guidance of your gynecologist in this case.
