Suggest Remedy For Delayed Sleep Caused Due To Perindopril ERB/Indapamide Tablets.

I have been taking PERINDOPRIL ERB/INDAPAMIDE Tablets 4mg/1.25mg for (Blood pressure) some time know and have been experiencing side effects - Leg Cramps, As a farmer (70 years of age) I keep myself fit but I do not achieve my quality sleep, they normally start at early morning (on and off) after 2.00am until day break. I have followed my Dr suggestions to date date Doctor can you please suggest what I can do?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are alternative medications that may work just as well for you that you may be able to tolerate better.
You may need to consider seeing your doctor for a possible change in medication.

A muscle relaxant may also help to relieve the cramps as well.

If there is no relief with the change in medication and the use of a muscle relaxant, then you may need blood tests to check the levels of electrolytes that may cause cramps eg sodium, calcium, magnesium and potassium
