Suggest Remedy For Discomfort Caused By A Pill Stuck In The Throat
Hi. I swallowed a pill last night and immediately felt like it got stuck in my throat. I tried drinking water and eating bread with no real help. I still have the sensation this morning, although somewhat better. I believe it may have gotten stuck in my valleculae. I m not sure if it is still there, or what I am feeling is some irritation from where the pill was. No problems eating, drinking or breathing, just mild discomfort. I am 42, otherwise healthy with no medical problems. What should I do?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Your symptoms seem to be related to micro trauma in the throat where the pill was . I suggest to drink a lot of liquids. Honey can also help in relieving the symptoms. In my opinion the discomfort will relieve in a few days.
Hope my answer was helpful.
