Suggest Remedy For Distored Vision And Headache While Having Degenerative Myopia

Hi, I have been diagnosed with Degenerative Myopia in R. Eye and have lacquer cracks in left. Right eyesight is very distored (which started in past 2 weeks) and is now making my head hurt along with dizziness. Current Retina Specialist says to go home and watch the "grid" to see if getting worse. I'm not one to just sit and do nothing while I lose my sight. Would you go for second opinion; and at what point does a physician try to treat (even though I know treatments are limited)?

The presence of distorted vision indicates macular involvement by the pathological changes of myopia or by lacquer cracks.
This requires evaluation by investigations like fundus fluorescrin angiography to look for compilations like chroidal neo vascular membrane. If it is present treatment is indicated otherwise requires follow up and monitoring as told by your ophthalmologist by watching daily amslers grid.
