Suggest Remedy For Dizziness

Hello, I am an 18 year old female who is struggling through some kinda of odd dizzy spells since I was the age of 11. It used to only happen occasionally, I would get these feelings of falling over and light hotheadedness, my breathe and heart beat would always increase rapidly causing me to lay down until it passes. Recently it has been really bad, I feel like passing out when it occurs and i struggle to focus on something to help take my mind off of whatever this is. There is a sudden urge to just want to stay in my bed and sleep after these dizzy spells happen. I have gone to clinics to try and get a full assessment on what is actually going on with my body, but i am given multiple different answers and the most recent one was diagnosed as a sinus infection... I am in need of some help to try and figure out a source to where this is coming from and what steps i need to take to fix this. If this might help with any of whats going on, i am anemic and have low iron... i have only recently (the past year) started taking iron supplements.

Hello,

It would have been useful if you had mentioned what tests you've had. Anemia might be a contributor as it may cause lightheadedness if values are too low.

Thyroid dysfunction may be another cause. Heart arrhythmia is another possibility to be investigated. Sinus infection, on the other hand, shouldn't be responsible for those episodes.

If all those have been investigated and excluded then I think anxiety should be considered as the most likely cause and therapy be aimed towards psychotherapy and relaxation exercises.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
