Suggest Remedy For Dry Cracks On Butt Skin
My mother is 90 years old and sits a lot. Her upper butt crack does not get any air -she is over weight. Now the upper part of her butt crack by her tailbone is red and has a small (about the size of a pea) in her butt crack. We have been putting Desitin on it but should we be using a powder and keeping it dry?

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is bed sores. You must advise her to frequently change the posture will sleeping Topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin may be applied over the cracked area.You may use a powder to keep it dry.Regards
