Suggest Remedy For Dry Skin Patch On Penis With Swelling And Pain

So this is a weird question but my boyfriend and I are getting really concerned about it because it is spreading. It started out looking just like a little bit of dry skin around the head of his penis so he made sure he washed really good with Dove unscented which he has used this soap for over a year now. But it has gone south from there. Now it has spread down his shaft and is spreading to his testis, its is swollen and red, and the head looks almost what I would say someone has tied a rubber band around it. He says it is very uncomfortable and hurt. And when he picks the skin off of it the skin is a far tan color. Can you help.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

He should get evaluated by an urologist. It can be infection and a urethral secretions culture is needed. Also, he may need to do a visit to dermatologist because it also can be eczema. He further evaluated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
