Suggest Remedy For Ear Aches

I've been havving horrible ear aches for a coupls of months now.I normally take anti-biotics and the pain goes away in about 2-3 days.Recently, I've also been using Earex to clean my ears.A lot of ear wax came out at first.Today, I've got ear ache again in my right ear.The pain is shooting.The inside of my ear seem to be stiff and very painful when i press it.I used earex drops.Did not help.The pain has just worsened and my ears feel full or filled up.

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms,you are probably suffering from Otitis externa(Inflammation of the skin lining of outer ear).The most common cause is trauma while cleaning of ear.

You may get relief by taking Analgesic and Anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen
and Antibiotic ointment to be applied locally inside outer ear.

Don't try to clean your ear by self.Avoid water getting inside ear during taking bath.

If after taking the above measures,if your symptoms are not improving,then it would be advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist doctor.
