Suggest Remedy For Ear And Throat Problem

Yesterday my ear started hurting and in the Concha it is red and a little swollen and the pores look open. Also when I woke up this morning I was coughing mucus up and my voice is raspy and deep. Is it an ear infection? Also I am a smoker does that have anything to do with it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to an ear infection.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.
I also recommend to use ear drops for local application.
If the symptoms continue you should consult an ENT specialist.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
