HI, DOCTOR, I HAD GOT BOTH THE EAR SURGERY 5 YRS AGO, bone replacement has been done post which i am able to hear better, recently due to lot of stress and and cold issues i have clicking sound in the ears, pain and tinitus is also increased, earlier for ear wax my surgeon had suggested soliwax, please suggest me to get rid of ear pain and clikcing tinitus problems.
The clicking sound in your ear and tinnitus is probably because of some eustachian tube (ET) dysfunction. Some exercises that keep the ET open such as performing the Toynbee or Valsalva maneuver (Can be learnt from the internet) once or twice daily for a few months. In addition saline nose drops and steam inhalation can help keep the ET functioning normally.
Do continue the soliwax for ear wax and have the wax removed by an ENT surgeon after 5 days of application of the ear drops.
Hope this information was helpful. Do let me know if you have any other concerns.
