Hello
You walk 7000 steps a day , 47 years old and still having
high blood pressure ( lower one means diastolic blood pressure i.e 153/103 and 144/90 .The lower one is 103 and 90 ) .
In ideally condition this should be around 80 mm of Hg.
In your case this is little bit high .
You should be worried but not too much.
I see similar cases among this age group peoples who visit my clinic . In the first meeting I advise my patient to go on life style modification for 3-6 months , after that if they continue to be in high diastolic blood pressure I advise go for through examination like ECHO , TREAD MILL TEST and if owrsn then
angiography .
These measures may be useful:
1 High fiber diet, green leafy vegetables and fruits.
2 Cut down the processed food , white bread, doughnuts , white sugar , pizza, wine should be avoided completely.
3 The important thing is exercises ( however you are already doing this thing ).
Deal as mentioned above.
Good luck.
