Suggest Remedy For Extreme Exhaustion And Severe Fluid Retention Due To Hashimotos
I ve been on Armour 30 mgs for almost 10 weeks for my hashimotos diagnosis. I already had fibromyalgia diagnosed 3 years ago. I m disappointed the symptoms continue to control and ruin my life. The exhaustion is the worst; I barely make it through each day at work only to hurry home to sleep in preparation for the next day. After 9 months of severe body-wide fluid retention, I am finally seeing improvement, but not gone completely. Still about 3/4 of an inch on legs and feet. Sweating like a waterfall randomly regardless of temperature. Have gone completely organic, primarily fruits & veggies; drink only water or juice I make. Doing everything to help heal but very little progress, feeling alone and desperate. Suggestions? Oh I m a 49 yr old female fairly healthy and athletic before this nightmare began.
You mention that you take Armour thyroid and considering all your actual symptoms, I can deduct that you need a doses adjustment of your actual thyroid medication or even start a synthetic human thyroid hormone.
The excessive sweating can be a symptom of menopause and it is not related to your Hashimoto.

Suggest Remedy For Extreme Exhaustion And Severe Fluid Retention Due To Hashimotos
Hello, Apart from excessive sweating, all your symptoms can be attributed to Hypothyroidism. You mention that you take Armour thyroid and considering all your actual symptoms, I can deduct that you need a doses adjustment of your actual thyroid medication or even start a synthetic human thyroid hormone. The excessive sweating can be a symptom of menopause and it is not related to your Hashimoto. My advice is to do the TSH test and then to consult your treating endocrinologist for necessary doses adjustment of your thyroid hormone replacement therapy. Hope I have answered your query.
