Suggest Remedy For Extreme Mood Swings Post Klonopin Withdrawal
husband had heart surgery and also arteries in neck and had stroke they are giving him seraqueal he has never took that he is using his parts of the body that the stroke is on he is talking good .now he took klonopin for 12years for panic attacks .now they put him back on that for a week and then took it away again. and he has shakes real out blue it seens that now his swolling is wrost. and his moods is not good he has never talked bad to me and now he is they did not tell me or him he was on that serqueal.i know that is a bad med and he dont need it.

Yes clonazepan(klonopin) withdrawl can cause mood swings.
Please dont withdraw this drug without doctors advice.
Serequel is a atypical antipsychotic that can only be given after proper history and physical examination of patient.
I suggest you not to worry much. I suggest you that confusing about symptoms and mood which occur when we are really happy and really sad, may lead to real mental disorders. Ask your husband, Are these mood swings that extreme? Why they happened? No clue? If no clue (Only if there is no clue even after extreme brain bashing), you can approach a psychiatrist or psychologist for correct diagnosis. Never ever make self diagnosis. It is more dangerous than you think in mind related matters.
