Suggest Remedy For Eye Floaters And Distortion
My husbands left eye started bothering him 9/21..... That day he saw speckles and floaters all over his left eye, but didn t have pain or didn t strain with anything he can remember. Since then the floater have gone away, but he has an crest shaped shadow, like an eclipse ,in the lower portion of his left eye, that has grown from just the corner, to a larger portion of his vision, almost half. There is no visible trauma or outer signs on his eye that we see........My question is should he go to see a doctor today, or wait for his eye appt. tomorrow mid-morning?

floaters are degenerative bodies in vitreous. ophthalmoscopy preferably indirect ophthalmoscopy be done to exclude hole tear or peripheral retinal detachment. if nothing is found examination may be repeated after one month .should be kept under surveillance consult retina surgeon

floaters are degenerative body in vitreous. for precaution have complete checkup of retina preferably with indirect ophthaqlmoscope to cover wider field. exclude hole tear and peripheral detachment of retina. if all are normal then repeat the examination after 6 months. can consult retina surgeon. can wait for tomorrow and consult eye doctor according to appointment.
