Hello,

Since you were examined and under specialist observation, thus be under your doctor's regular supervision. Probably the doctor has given you cycloplegic [atropine] drug [causing dilatation of the pupil] which results in light sensitivity, loss of accommodation and blurred vision [pupil will stay dilated up to two weeks], so the reason is justifiable. In the meantime, as prophylaxis, use Ophthacare eye drop two drops in each eye every four hourly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood
