Suggest Remedy For Eye Problem

My father is diabetic patient his age is 75 years recently doctors did amputation for his right leg and know he is telling he can't see with his right eye ( he has mildly motiabind ) and i want to know for up and downs of sugar he loss his vision or motiabind ?

In his case two things should be excluded. one is cataract the other one is diabetic retinopathy.treatment for cataract is surgery and for retinopathyphoto coagulation is to be done.
