Hi,
Noted your short history of removal of stuck chicken bone but feeling of something still stuck in throat in spite of taking bread, peanut butter.
Chicken bone is a hard object and once gets stuck the try to remove it by your own causes more local trauma which persists ewven after its successful removal.
This edema and
injury causes the feeling of something stuck in throat and last for a few days.
I would advise you teh following in such a situation:
First of stop trying anything at home.
Take ice cold water for the edema not to increase.
Take an anti-inflammatory medicine whichever suits you with a PPI like
Omeprazole.
Take
antacid gel with
anesthetic contents.
Calm down and take rest.
If this does not help then consult an ENT For
Endoscopy of the affected area, or Upper GI area as is suggested.
This will confirm the diagnosis and help you to get a proper management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
