I have a cold/flu I have a sore throat, my voice is very low and in and out. I'm not so much coughing, but when I do or sneeze, laugh, take deep breath my ribs hurt so bad. My stomach below my chest is bloated and very sore to the touch. It is really bad on the left side. Is this just a cold/flu ?
I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your chest infection.
As per your history it seems that you are suffering with viral infection or post viral bacterial infection. Because of the continous coughing it sometime cause the muscle cramps in intercostal or rib muscle, the tender chest may be because of that too.
If I would have been your treatment doctor I would recommend you levofloxin once daily for a week, citrizene or levocitrizine also for a week, provided you are not taking any medication and are not allergic to any of it or don't have any further association medical history.
Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any questions further.
