Hi,

I can understand your concerns.

Vomiting in pregnancy can be due to a lot of reasons most commonly being hyperemesis gravidarum which is increased vomiting due to pregnancy hormones itself like beta hcg .

But if you have eaten outside or unhygienic food then food poisoning can be a reason .

These symptoms in early pregnancy should not be taken lightly as any harm to your body can harm your baby too.

I will advise you to take tablet or injection doxynate. This will reduce your vomiting and also keep yourself hydrated.

If you are not able to take orally then you might need intravenous fluids.

I will also advise you to get a stool sample study to find the organism causing food poisoning as we might need to start antibiotics.

Also please eat healthy and do not ea outside food in the future.

If you are feeling very weak then admission to a hospital for monitoring and supervised drug administration might be necessary.

Regards,

Dr Biswas
